The Highwaymen – Highwayman
Les Highwaymen était un groupe de musique country américaine, composé de quatre des plus grands artistes de la musique country, pionniers du sous-genre outlaw country : Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson et Kris Kristofferson. Entre 1985 et 1995, le groupe a enregistré trois albums sous le nom de The Highwaymen : deux chez Columbia Records et un chez Liberty Records. Les œuvres de Columbia ont produit trois singles figurant au hit-parade, dont le numéro un “Highwayman” en 1985.
