La chanteuse va ensuite enchaîner les tubes tout au long des années 1980, dont Johnny, Johnny en 1985. Classé no 1 au Top 50, ce single suit de peu la sortie de son premier album, dont elle signe tous les textes; Romano Musumarra en est le principal compositeur. Jeanne Mas collabore également avec Daniel Balavoine et Andy Scott qui se chargent de la réalisation artistique de deux titres : le tube Cœur en stéréo et Oh Mama.
