Bill Haley and his Comets – Shake, Rattle and Roll
Bill Haley & His Comets était un groupe de rock and roll américain, fondé en 1952 et qui a continué jusqu’à la mort de Haley en 1981. Le groupe était également connu sous le nom de Bill Haley and the Comets et Bill Haley’s Comets (et leurs variantes).
De fin 1954 à fin 1956, le groupe a placé neuf singles dans le top 20, dont un numéro un, et trois autres dans le top 10. Le single “Rock Around the Clock” est devenu le single rock and roll le plus vendu de l’histoire du genre et a conservé cette position pendant quelques années.

Bill Haley & His Comets were an American rock and roll band, founded in 1952 and continued until Haley's death in 1981. The band was also known as Bill Haley and the Comets and Bill Haley's Comets (and variations thereof).
From late 1954 to late 1956, the group placed nine singles in the top 20, one of those a number one and three more in the top ten. The single "Rock Around the Clock" became the biggest selling rock and roll single in the history of the genre and retained that position for some years.
